The Day I'll Never Forget! Like A Dream Came True
Shabana Azmi asked when Hashim told that Linux has the capability to look and behave like any other OS. It can be converted to MAC or BeOS look and feel. Linux is being more and more popular because it is free, comes with many useful office apps and has a great network and security features. NIAT have Mandrake, Corel and Red Hat Linux operated computers.
More and more people were coming again and again to see and to take autographs of Shabana Azmi. Each and everyone was looking very happy to see Shabana Azmi this much closer. It was sure a great day for those, who has seen REAL Shabana Azmi instead for REEL Shabana Azmi for the first time. NIAT is honored by the Kind visit of Mrs. Shabana Azmi. The unforgettable day was 10th of May, 2001. We love you, Shabana!
Shabana Azmi was sharing her experiences
about a famous computer training institution where they told her about there
experiments.
She told Hashim that those people went to a slum colony and fixed a monitor
under a wall. They also put the Mouse and Keyboard there. After some days, they
noticed that kids from slum start using computer.
Anis Nizam, Managing Director of NIAT welcomed Shabana Azmi when she reached NIAT at 10:35 a.m. "Did you face any trouble in the way, Madam?", Mr. Anis asked. Shabana Azmi replied "No, although those kids who came along with me were too quite and was not talking anything."
"So, What do you have for poor girls?" Shabana Azmi Asked. Anis Nizam told her that NIAT has special courses designed for poor girls who cannot afford their technical education. NIAT is providing absolutely free computer education to those girls who are interested in computer learning but cannot afford it's bill.
People of Bank Enclave and surrounding area ran to Shabana Azmi when she headed toward the car to leave. People were just being crazy to take autograph of a great actress. Who knows, tomorrow she may be president of India (We wish her each and every success).
